Macizo Coffee Co. was born from a deep love for coffee, culture, and community. The word “Macizo” is a Honduran slang term used to describe something truly exceptional—something well done, impressive, and full of impact. It perfectly represents what this brand stands for: high-quality coffee, a welcoming space, and a celebration of Honduran heritage.

We work hand-in-hand with producers to make sure every cup we serve is top quality—and we do it while supporting fair trade and sustainable practices. We also partner with Dynamic Coffee Roasters, a local Pittsburgh roaster known for their skill and passion, to bring out the best in every bean. Together, we craft coffee that’s full of flavor, thoughtfully sourced, and roasted to perfection."

- Selin Recinos: Selin carries on his family's farming tradition with admirabl dedication, taking care of not only his own land but also that of his family. Alongside his wife, Blanca, who is a cupper, Selin Jr. upholds the longstanding legacy of exceptional quality and sustainable practices that originated in La Labor, leaving an indelible mark on the agricultural landscape.
